Laser Tattoo Removal effectively targets the pigment colors in your skin’s dermis, the layer between your outer skin (epidermis) and the tissue beneath. The laser beam is absorbed by the tattoo pigments, breaking them into tiny fragments that your body then naturally absorbs and eliminates.
At The Cove Aesthetics, we use the ND Yag Laser, which produces high-peak power light pulses. These precise and intense pulses fragment the tattoo pigments instantly, while sparing the surrounding tissue. After a session, you may experience redness and blisters in the treated area, but full aftercare instructions will be provided. Since each tattoo is unique, multiple sessions may be necessary, and we will assess your specific needs during your consultation and patch test appointment.
